Law Firm Pitch Trophy 2026
The best AI solutions from law firms, live on stage.

The idea
Law firms in the spotlight
For the first time at the German Legal Tech Summit, the law firms themselves take centre stage and show which AI solutions they have developed or introduced in-house – and how these actually change their work.
Whether automated contract analysis, intelligent client intake, AI-assisted research or a dedicated assistant for the whole team: we are looking for solutions that do not just exist on slides but work in everyday law firm practice.

How it works
How the trophy works
- ApplicationBy 15 November 2026, law firms submit a short description of their solution via our online form – which problem it solves, how it is used and what benefit it brings. A demo video is optional but helps the jury a lot.
- Jury selectionAn expert jury from the legal market, academia and technology assesses all submissions and selects the three most convincing solutions for the final. The finalists will be notified in good time before the Summit.
- Live pitch at the SummitOn 3 December 2026, the three finalists present their solution live on stage – directly after the Start-up Pitch Trophy. Each law firm has a few minutes for its pitch and live demo.
- The audience decidesAfter the pitches, the audience votes live via QR code. The law firm with the most votes wins the Law Firm Pitch Trophy 2026.
Criteria
Criteria and eligibility
- What mattersThe winners will be solutions that are already in use and make a real difference – for the lawyers, for the team and for the clients. What matters to us is a clearly recognisable benefit, a well-thought-out approach to confidentiality and data protection, and an idea that others in the market can learn from. The size of the firm does not matter: a smart solution from a boutique has just as good a chance as a project from a large firm.
- Who can take part? All law firms from Germany can take part, regardless of size and area of law. The solution may have been developed in-house or implemented together with a technology partner – but on stage it is the law firm itself that pitches, not the vendor. Client data never has to be shown: demos with anonymised or synthetic data are expressly welcome.
Why take part?
A stage for innovation
- The entire Summit audienceThe finalists present themselves to the entire Summit audience – decision-makers from law firms, legal departments and the legal tech scene.
- Visible recognitionThe trophy is a visible award for innovation that can be used in recruiting, client communication and branding.
- “GLTS Finalist 2026”Reaching the final is already an award: all three finalists carry the title “GLTS Finalist 2026”.
- “GLTS AI Law Firm of the Year”The winner receives the title “GLTS AI Law Firm of the Year”, a stand at GLTS 2027 and the opportunity to host a GLTH Roadshow.
