recode.law e.V.

recode.law is a non-profit, registered association with the aim of driving forward and helping to shape innovation and digitalisation in the legal field (Legal Innovation and Legal Tech). We work on a cross-regional and decentralised basis and maintain locations in Cologne, Düsseldorf, Münster, Hamburg, Berlin, Leipzig-Halle, Munich and Passau. Our members comprise students, doctoral candidates, legal trainees and young professionals. We are supported by numerous sponsoring members from academia, the judiciary and business. Our field of activity is broad. Externally, we are visible primarily through events aimed at the specialist public, as well as through the expansion and collection of knowledge in the form of articles or podcasts. Internally, the association offers its members, and often invited external guests as well, a platform to network, exchange ideas with like-minded people, and conduct research. recode.law has organised the Digital Justice Conference since 2020.
