About DIRO AG
DIRO AG, headquartered in Hamburg, is a network of mid-sized law firms in Germany, Europe and worldwide. The Hamburg head office organises and supports cooperation among the member firms, which advise on private and business law. According to its own information, the network has existed for more than 30 years and comprises around 200 firms; membership always applies to the entire firm with all its legal professionals, not just an individual person.
For clients, DIRO AG provides a law firm finder that allows a suitable firm to be found by country, city or area of law. For cross-border or recurring legal matters, DIRO LEGAL GmbH serves as the network's central firm, acting as a single point of contact that coordinates between the firms involved, thereby combining regional expertise with international reach.
For its member firms, DIRO AG offers a portfolio of services relating to law firm organisation and development. These include digitalisation and automation, marketing, personnel development and training, as well as knowledge management. With the digital platform DIRO Multisite, firms can build their own online presence, manage content and documents, and benefit from visibility within the network. In addition, there are offerings relating to quality management – many member firms are certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 or work with a comparable system – cooperation with partners, and a business law firm network for deeper collaboration in commercial law.
Another focus is on the use of artificial intelligence in law firm practice. To this end, DIRO AG brings together an AI community as well as formats for introducing artificial intelligence, for the use of AI in firm organisation, and for tools and strategies for its application. This is complemented by conferences, webinars and workshops, at which members engage in professional exchange and initiate joint projects.
The network is aimed at independent mid-sized law firms seeking to develop organisationally, professionally and technically, as well as at companies and private individuals seeking contacts in various countries and areas of law through the network.
