About Actaport / dokSAFE GmbH

ACTAPORT – The digital foundation for modern law firms

ACTAPORT is a cloud-based law firm software developed by dokSAFE GmbH from Leipzig. The platform combines case handling, communication and financial management in a single central working environment. It is aimed at law firms wishing to digitise their organisation, collaborate more efficiently as a team and automate processes in a targeted way – from sole practices and specialised boutiques to growing firm structures.

At the centre is the digital file as a shared workspace. Documents, deadlines, reminders, tasks, notes and case details are linked together and made clearly accessible. Individually customisable folder structures, templates and text modules support consistent handling. Access rights management allows control over which team members can access particular content. Browser-based use enables access via computer, tablet or smartphone.

Communication is also integrated into the firm’s organisation: ACTAPORT combines e-mails, the special electronic lawyer’s mailbox (beA) and the client portal in one central inbox. This allows messages and documents to be processed in connection with the relevant matter. Integrations with applications such as Microsoft Word, Outlook and Teams connect the platform with familiar tools.

Financial management supports the process from time recording through to billing. Activities can be assigned directly to a file, and invoices can be generated according to the RVG (German Lawyers’ Fees Act), time spent or a flat fee. Functions for managing due dates and incoming payments provide an additional overview. An extra module with automated receipt capture and bank reconciliation is available for firm accounting. An analytics add-on enables the evaluation of revenue data via Power BI dashboards. In addition, ACTAPORT supports receivables management with debtor accounts, reminder notices and enforcement proceedings.

Another focus is the connection between firm data, automation and AI. Via an API as well as connections to n8n and Zapier, individual workflows can be built and external applications integrated. Recurring steps, such as creating file structures or processing documents, can thus be automated. The central pool of data at the same time provides a basis for AI-supported processes in the context of client matters.

ACTAPORT is hosted in Germany. During implementation, the team provides support with data migration, training and personal assistance. The aim is a firm organisation that brings information together, reduces administrative effort and creates more time for casework and the further development of the firm.
