About BRYTER
BRYTER – AI and automation for legal practice
BRYTER develops software that enables law firms, legal departments and compliance teams to make their knowledge digitally usable and to automate workflows. The company combines generative AI with rule-based processes. The aim is to simplify recurring tasks, provide legal services more efficiently and create more time for sophisticated advice.
The offering comprises two central solutions: BEAMON AI supports day-to-day legal work in research, drafting, summarising and reviewing documents. BRYTER Workflows makes it possible to embed these and other tasks into structured, automated processes. This means the range of use extends from handling individual documents to digitising entire processes.
With BEAMON AI, legal teams can, among other things, create contract drafts based on templates, summarise documents and compare contract content with internal review guidelines or model clauses. The extraction of relevant information from extensive document sets is also among the areas of application. This supports, for example, contract reviews, due diligence projects and the adaptation of existing contracts to new requirements.
BRYTER Workflows translates specialist decision logic into digital applications. Using a visual no-code editor, experts can build and further develop solutions without traditional programming. Information is captured in a structured way, processed according to defined rules and translated into concrete steps – such as the creation of a document, a risk classification or the initiation of an approval.
Typical applications include central intake portals for legal enquiries, automated document creation, approval processes, compliance checks and the handling of high-volume matters. Business departments can process standardised requests via digital self-service offerings; more complex cases can be routed specifically to the responsible teams. So-called Hybrid Agents combine AI functions and defined workflows for specific legal tasks.
For integration into existing IT landscapes, BRYTER offers integrations, including with SharePoint, Salesforce and DocuSign, as well as an open API. Individual extensions through code allow adaptation to particular requirements. This makes it possible to connect data and work steps across multiple systems.
BRYTER operates internationally and has offices in Frankfurt, London and New York. Clients named on the company’s website include, among others, ING, McDonald’s, Ashurst and Linklaters. The focus is on the aim of making legal expertise more broadly available and combining it with controllable digital processes.
