About Clarius.Legal Rechtsanwaltsaktiengesellschaft

CLARIUS – Legal expertise and technology for businesses

CLARIUS combines legal advice with the operational handling of legal processes and its own technology. As part of the Clarius Group, the Legal division supports businesses in law, compliance, data protection and ESG. The offering ranges from individual projects to the ongoing handling of recurring tasks through to taking over an entire legal function.

The focus is on relieving the burden on internal teams. CLARIUS drafts, reviews and negotiates contracts, provides support on ongoing legal matters and supplies additional capacity during peak workloads or vacancies. Its fields of activity include commercial contract law, employment, corporate and trade mark law, as well as IT and technology law. Legal monitoring complements the offering by preparing relevant developments and concrete recommendations for action.

In the field of compliance, CLARIUS supports the establishment and operation of management systems, risk analyses, policies and control processes. Whistleblower systems with a legal ombudsman service and digital training offerings support implementation in day-to-day business. In data protection, CLARIUS takes on, among other things, the role of external data protection officer, manages ongoing data protection processes and supports audits, impact assessments and data subject requests. ESG services round out the portfolio to cover sustainability and supply chain matters.

The technological foundation is CLAIR, the Group’s own workflow and AI platform. It brings together matters, documents, deadlines and records in a shared working environment. Company-specific rules are mapped in playbooks; recurring processing and documentation steps can be automated. Functions for data extraction, contextual research and evaluation support daily work.

CLAIR has a modular structure and includes, among other things, contract, case, compliance, data protection and corporate management functions. Processing status, responsibilities and turnaround times are presented transparently. For the legal services provided, the lawyers review and take responsibility for the results.

Businesses can choose between a managed service, joint processing and independent use of the platform. The models can be combined and adapted to individual needs. Monthly flat rates and fixed project prices enable predictable collaboration.

The Clarius Group, headquartered in Hamburg, brings together professionals from law, compliance, finance, IT and occupational health and safety. Its approach combines professional responsibility with digitally supported processes: processes are analysed, designed, implemented and further developed during ongoing operations. In this way, CLARIUS creates additional capacity and greater transparency for businesses seeking to organise their legal work efficiently.
