With anonymization.ai, Glanos does not offer another AI workspace, but standalone software for format-preserving anonymisation, pseudonymisation and redaction of confidential documents, tied neither to a specific AI model nor to a new working environment. The founders of Glanos have been developing software for natural language processing for almost 20 years. Their approach goes beyond solving current requirements. They think ahead about their customers’ technological possibilities in the long term and support them in the strategic development of their document and AI processes.

Automated redaction delivers immediate, measurable time savings and greater security, for instance in due diligence, in data rooms, for file inspection or when sharing documents with experts, authorities and parties to proceedings. anonymization.ai identifies sensitive information according to consistent rules, and the team checks and approves it – a dual-control principle combining software and human review. Comments, metadata and PDF text layers are also technically removed. For one customer, the effort required for due diligence documents fell, by their own measurements, to around one-tenth.

For working with AI, anonymization.ai pseudonymises documents before processing. Names, companies and other details are replaced with consistent placeholders, even across different spellings and multiple documents. This allows the original terms to be reliably reinserted into AI outputs under controlled conditions. The mapping key remains with the customer, and categories and rules can be adjusted.

The software works wherever documents are already being processed: in Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and in the browser, as well as via n8n, make.com, API and MCP. If the AI tool changes, the data preparation remains in place. This means the same data preparation can be integrated into different AI and document processes.

Entire document collections can also be processed fully automatically, for example historical files for knowledge systems or for training proprietary AI models.

The in-house developed technology is designed for high speed and can be operated completely isolated, without any connection to external AI services. anonymization.ai is available as SaaS (hosted in Germany) or on-premise. In on-premise operation, all data remains within the company. Contractual and data protection documentation, as well as agreements under § 43e BRAO and § 203 StGB, are provided. An ISAE 3402 Type 2 audit report with a focus on information security is available for Glanos.

anonymization.ai is used by public institutions, expert assessors, consultancies and law firms, including leading German law firms. At the German Legal Tech Summit, Glanos will demonstrate the software live – from redacting individual documents to integration into AI workflows.
