About Harvey AI Corporation

Harvey – Artificial intelligence for demanding legal work

Harvey develops an AI platform for law firms, legal departments and professional service providers. It supports legal teams with research, document drafting, contract review and the analysis of extensive documentation. The aim is to make knowledge more readily available, speed up recurring work steps and free up additional capacity for advisory and strategic tasks.

The platform combines legal information sources with the knowledge of the respective organisation. Through the Knowledge area, teams can research legal, regulatory and tax questions, drawing on connected specialist databases, curated public sources and internal knowledge bases. Listed data partners include LexisNexis, Wolters Kluwer and Otto Schmidt, among others. The international orientation also supports research across multiple jurisdictions.

With Vault, Harvey offers a workspace for organising and evaluating large document collections. Contracts, correspondence and other documents can be jointly analysed, relevant information extracted and compared in structured tables. Typical use cases include due diligence reviews, litigation preparation and internal knowledge management. Templates, standard clauses and review guidelines can be provided as a shared knowledge base for further work.

Specialised AI agents support multi-step legal tasks. Contract Intelligence adds functions for contract analysis, negotiation preparation and the evaluation of entire contract portfolios. With Horizon Scanning, regulatory changes can be tracked and assessed. In this way, Harvey covers both individual work steps and interconnected legal processes.

For collaboration, Harvey provides shared workspaces via Spaces, in which law firms, clients and other involved teams can work across organisations. Access rights and information barriers support the controlled handling of sensitive content. The Command Center provides analytics on platform usage and supports the adoption of AI within an organisation.

Harvey can also be integrated into existing working environments. Add-ins for Microsoft Word and Outlook enable documents and e-mails to be processed directly in familiar applications. Connections to document management systems and storage solutions such as iManage, SharePoint and Google Drive bring together relevant content.

Through this combination of AI, specialist sources, internal knowledge and collaboration, Harvey helps legal teams access complex information more quickly and make their expertise usable across the entire business or law firm.
