Anke Pörksen

Good IT infrastructure, secure IT systems, end-to-end digitalised administrative services, and digitally networked businesses are of enormous importance for citizens, for companies, and for a modern state fit for the future. The Lower Saxony state government has therefore bundled nearly all state-level tasks and competencies in the field of digitalisation within the Ministry of the Interior. Anke Pörksen, as State Secretary for Digitalisation, bears responsibility for the area of “digitalisation, overall IT governance, security and infrastructure”. In the upcoming significant strengthening and acceleration of the digitalisation process, she works closely with the other ministries and the State Chancellery. Digitalisation is an essential cross-cutting task for the entire state government.
